6 medical students sick, admitted to emergency after being denied exam in Ambedkar Nagar

6 students of Para 21 studying in Government Allopathic Medical College Saddarpur went into depression due to being deprived of the examination. All were admitted to the emergency ward. The students created ruckus in the emergency ward and raised anti-principal slogans. SDM and CO reached the emergency ward and talked to the agitated students and tried to cool down the matter. Giving a clean chit to the medical college, SDM Tanda said that no poisonous substance has been consumed by any student, all were depressed after being denied the exam. In the late evening in front of the college, the students started protesting by blocking the Akbarpur Tanda Marg. The students were demanding the resignation of the principal.

For the past several days, the students studying in the medical college were protesting against the Tughlaqi decrees of Principal Dr. Sandeep Kaushik, for which a complaint was also made by the students to the District Magistrate. After the same complaint, the District Magistrate got a joint investigation done by ADM and ASP. After this, the students of Para 21 who took part in the movement were harassed. On last Saturday, the exam admit cards were distributed to the students of Para 21, out of which the admit cards of 46 students did not come.

On asking the students, the college administration was told that the attendance of the 46 students who have not received the admit card was very less, so the admit card has not been sent from the Medical University, while the students say that their attendance is complete, but the Department of Anatomy A professor forcibly demanded illegal money from 36 students and other departments by showing less absence of 10 students. Half a dozen students, including two girl students, were hurriedly admitted to the emergency ward on Monday afternoon, their health was very bad.

College administration accused of dictatorship

As soon as the news of the admission of the students to the emergency ward spread, the students gathered in the emergency ward and started raising slogans, due to which the administration of the medical college got agitated and Dr. Amirul Hasan, Superintendent of the Medical College, Dr. Mukesh Rana, Head of the Department of Medicine, Dr. Amit Patel Dozens of doctors including Dr. Rajesh Yadav treated the students. On information, SDM Tanda Deepak Kumar Verma, CO Tanda Santosh Kumar, Aliganj in-charge Inspector Vijendra Prasad Sharma reached with heavy police force and pacified their anger by talking to the students. SDM Tanda Deepak Verma told that the students were in depression due to non-receipt of admit cards, there is nothing to panic, everyone’s condition is fine.

After persuasion by the administrative officials, the agitated students calmed down and traffic was restored on Akbarpur Tanda main road late in the evening. After this, the students started protesting at the main gate of the Medical College, demanding the resignation of the Principal. During this, Katehri MLA and former minister Lalji Verma also reached the spot and held talks with the administrative officials in this regard after listening to the students. The MLA said that the students should get justice. Before this, Additional District Magistrate Sadakant Gupta, ASP Sanjay Rai and other administrative and police officers held talks with the students and assured all possible justice. However, the protest of the students continued till late evening.

Medical College Pracharya told that ‘the allegations leveled by the students are baseless, due to less attendance, the admit cards of the students have not come. There is no dearth of medical colleges in this. Students have fallen ill due to depression, everyone is out of danger. The sick students are under the supervision of the medical college authorities.
